Mummy´s ♥ Beat provides a selection of natural and relaxing sounds including white noises which can be mixed with the unique mothers heart beat, enabling the creation of a customized sound to suit baby.
Mummy´s ♥ Beat is a fantastic tool for the ever busy parent who has a plethora of responsibilities to juggle in an increasingly demanding working environment, or for a noise sensetive baby who will not settle or fall asleep easily.
The story behind the Idea
From nothing to something, so what happened in between ?. The first impulse, the first thought of Mummy´s ♥ Beat developed when I came across a very moving news article about a mother who brought her premature baby back to life, after two hours of cuddling baby on her chest. Doctors had pronounced him clinically dead and instinctively the mother asked to hold baby close to her chest. This story needless to say after clearing the kleenex box, left a profound impression on me about life, and reminded me of the strong bond between mother and child, and how we have almost forgotten the importance of that bond in fostering life. The power of nature despite all our technological advances never seems to stop surprising me.
I then tried to encapsulate that emotion in the mummy´s beat concept and give mothers the chance to enhance or not compromise the mother and child bond in a world that demands so much of a working family.
